English translation:
In winter Sorath(Saurashtra)’s better..
In summer it’s Gujarat
In monsoon it’s Vagad
[But] My Kutch all 12 months..

Is said in Kutch’s praise ..

Kutch is ma native place..
Each & every memory of it my mind has embraced..

Though we don’t live there anymore..
This is one of the places i adore..

So simple, yet so pretty..
You will love to be there, far away from the city..

This is where the Grass is so green..
This is where the Air is so clean..

In school days, vacations were the biggest lure..
& a visit to Kutch every summer vacation was sure..

Even the train journey was exhilarating..
The fresh cold air, green pastures & small villages were worth seeing..

Seeing Grand ma & Grand Pa, hugging them, touching their feet..
This feeling, nothing, just nothing, can beat..

Waking up automatically as early as six..
Seeing the beautiful Peacock always put me in transfix…

The morning tea was my favorite thing..
The only thing we all used to do was to eat like a King..

The pleasant evenings @ Dada Dungar were so merry..
& the sight of the sun setting was b e a u tiful, very..

This November i am going there again..
Just the thought of it, is giving an adrenaline rush to ma brain..

Panchanika Mahotsav has been organised there..
Believe me .. it will be nothing less than a huge fair..

I guarantee it’s going to be awesome..
My Kutch, here i come 🙂
